Question: would it make me a terrible sex toy reviewer if I just skipped the actual review and went straight to the part where I recommend that you just go ahead and buy the Crystal Delights Magnetic Bunny Tail Glass Butt Plug? It is just so perfect I feel like my words just won’t do it any justice… No, no, you’re right… I need to try… in the name of science and good journalism… or something like that.
I honestly had zero doubts when it came to this bunny tail, somewhere near the beginning of my career as a sex toy blogger I had the opportunity to review the Crystal Delights Pony Tail Glass Plug and I was 100% completely and unequivocally smitten with it. Then shortly after that I had the utter good fortune to win a Colors Against Cancer Glass Plug in a giveaway hosted by Crystal Delights and I found myself once again in love with a butt plug. At this point in time, as far as I am concerned Crystal Delights can do no wrong, they make such lovely, quality toys and their glass plugs are just phenomenal and they have definitely been one of my favorite companies for quite awhile now.
When I pulled the Bunny Tail Plug from the box of goodies SheVibe sent, I almost felt like I didn’t actually even need to test this plug… because I already knew I would like it and I knew everything I was going to love about it… but as I held that fluffy bunny butt plug in my hands, I knew I was going to have to use it… how could I pass up the chance to be a fluffy-wuffy wittle bun-bun? Tail plugs are my kryptonite… I see one and I just melt into a puddle of oooey-goo and can no longer function like a human being because all I want is to put on that tail and become a fuzzy-wuzzy, fluffy-wuffy, cutie-patootie, snuggums. And bunny plugs seem hit me at extra strength… remember the last bunny plug SheVibe sent me? I about died. And now you know my weakness, you have complete control over me.
Okay, something pretty cool about this Bunny Plug is the fact that it is magnetic! I find this awesome for a number of reasons… first of all, sometimes you are in the mood for a really fantastic butt plug, but maybe aren’t feeling up to being a rabbit… BOOM pull the tail off and you can insert the Crystal Delights plug in without worrying about craving carrots or needing to fight the urge to scurry off into a burrow. Also, being magnetic, you can dress up the plug in a number of ways, Crystal Delights offers some very gorgeous magnetic charms as well as other tail options, which allows you to buy one plug and customize it on a whim! Being magnetic also means it is easier to clean, rather than trying to keep the tail out of the water while I wash the plug, I can just pop the tail off and give the plug portion a good wash (easy is what a chronically lazy person such as my self really needs)! Another great thing about this plug being magnetic is that Stunt Cock has been pretty courteous and before coming on my ass he has pulled the tail portion off to avoid matting it up with jizz, this is fantastic. ALSO, something fun I discovered… I can put the butt plug portion in… then put on sexy panties… and then put the tail portion on over my panties… and it sticks through the panties… and then I’m a sexy bunny in sexy panties and all is right with the world. YAY for magnetic tails! My Crystal Delights Pony Tail is also detachable, but it is attached via a screw like device, so it isn’t nearly as easy to pop off quickly… so I am 100% sold on this magnetic configuration.
Something else the bunny plug is good for… sensation play! Forget feathers, the bunny tail is so soft and so tickley… it is great fun running it up and down a partners body! Its also great for just hanging out on your desk while you type reviews so you have something to reach out and pet when you start getting overwhelmed thinking about just how much work you have to get done and the super short time span you have to do it in and suddenly you feel like your whole life is spiraling out of control and… pets the bunny tail…. I’m fine, its fine.
The Crystal Delights Bunny Tail Plug is made from real fur. Which means it is most definitely not vegan friendly, if this is a concern for you, you should steer clear from this particular plug and perhaps look at some of their synthetic hair pony plugs. It is also worth nothing that Crystal Delights does not condone the killing of a critter just for its fur and support the abolishment of the fur trade, but until that day comes they also believe that all parts of the animal should be used, and would rather not see an animal killed for just its desirable parts with the rest being discarded as waste. As such, these tails are from a U.S. company that specializes in the refuse parts that would typically be thrown away. Crystal Delights also donates a portion of the tail profits annually to animal charities. So, yes it is real fur… but they are trying to be as ethical as they can be with it. I am on the fence about it… on the one hand, this really does feel absolutely divine… but fur does belong on the critter it came from… but having grown up on a farm, I can appreciate that they are trying to use up every scrap of fur of the animal, we raised and ate our own chickens and always saved the feathers for various projects because my mom said it was disrespectful to the chicken if we didn’t make use of everything it gave us. So… I guess this just comes down to your own personal feelings on the issue.
The plug portion of the Crystal Delights Bunny Tail Butt Plug is just as the name implies… it is delightful. These glass plugs really are such a joy to insert. I find this particular plug to be very comfortable size-wise, it has a total length of 6.5 inches and an insertable length of 2.8 inches and is 1.5 inches at its widest point. Definitely not the biggest plug I own but also not the smallest either… it is a comfortably middling size in my opinion. But I really do find the hard glass to feel suitably filling even at this smaller size. I would say this size would be great for most users, from the adventurous beginner to the more seasoned ass pro. The gently tapered bulb of the plug is very easy to insert, with a good squirt of lube I was able to rest the plug against my butthole and just gently eased it in… I feel like my butt was being extra greedy, as it went in so easily…it felt like my butt was practically pulling it in on its own. I think I just have a super spoiled butthole that really knows luxury when it feels it and whenever I put a Crystal Delights toy anywhere near my butthole, it just sucks that puppy right in, no questions asked.
Once inserted I love the way the cold glass feels while it slowly warms up to body temperature. The chillier temp allows the plug to scream “hey, I’m in here” and kind of turns me on more and I find myself doing a lot more moving and bouncing feeling the cold glass inside. Maybe its because I’m from Minnesota… maybe we have some kind of fetish for all things cold… With the tail on, sitting comfortably wasn’t really an option. First off all, I didn’t really want to crush the fluffy puff-ball and second, sitting on the tail kind of made it feel like I had pooped myself and was sitting on a hard poop nugget… sure… I could have come up with a sexier way to explain that… but you get a poop reference… because poop is funny and I haven’t grown up beyond middle-school humor. But, since the tail is so easily removed, should you find yourself needing to sit, just pull the tail off and pop a squat…. then when you have finished your sitting you can reaffix your tail in a jiffy. But, when I’m wearing my bunny tail… I really don’t find myself wanting to sit… I like moving around, feeling the soft fur gliding against my butt cheeks… or being on my hands and needs, waggling my little bunny butt in the air, looking for attention.
Cleaning the glass portion of this toy is super easy, run it under the faucet with soap and water, wipe it down, use a 10% bleach solution, etc (just please do not boil it). However, should you find yourself needing to clean the tail portion, things get a bit trickier and you are best going to a fur professional, or risk doing damage to your tail on your own. Storing your Crystal Delights Bunny Tail also takes a little more effort than just tossing it under your bed (which is what I do with most my dildos), the Bunny Tail Plug likes to breath, don’t put it in a bag or wrap it in anything tightly, and be sure it isn’t being crushed by other objects, this will cause the tail to deform and be less fluffy and bunny tail like. Tails also prefer to stay out of the heat, so don’t store anywhere that gets too warm or near a vent, it will dry out the leather on the inside of your tail. I’ve really got nothing bad to say about the Crystal Delights Magnetic Bunny Tail Glass Butt Plug (other than its full name is a bitch to type out) and honestly think that you should just buy it. If you are looking for a fantastic glass butt plug, an adorable tail plug, you have a fetish for all things bunny… just do yourself a favor and buy this plug. Okay… yes… its a bit pricey, but I think the craftsmanship of this plug will make it a worth while purchase. The quality is great and with proper care this butt plug really should last you a life time and because of the magnetic feature, if you get tired of being a bunny with a fluffy pink tail you can easily swap it out for one of their other colors or into one of their blinged out medallions and no doubt as time goes on Crystal Delights will come out with new and more fantastic things to add to their magnetic plugs.
