Are you in love yet? Because I certainly am. I have never met another dildo so intricately designed, Meng the Micro Chinese Dragon really looks like a dragon, like something you would find hand-crafted by a dread-locked artisan at a Renaissance Festival. A dragon you can put up proudly on display and everyone will just admire your great taste in fantasy decor. That is how awesome I think Meng the Micro Chinese Dragon is. The fact that it is also a sex toy is totally just a bonus.
So, a tip of my hat to you Bad Dragon, I’m impressed.
Right out of the box, Meng the Micro Chinese Dragon was bigger than I was expecting. I’m terrible at math and numbers, so looking at size charts is like trying to read Greek while standing on my head, its gibberish. So, when you explain to me that its going to be 7 inches in length I will just nod and smile, totally pretending I get what you are saying, but inside I’m all “how big is that? Is it like, longer than a loaf of bread? Smaller than a pony? Just keep smiling.” So, I guess because Meng is just so adorable, I automatically assumed it would be a tiny bundle of cutness… because, as you know, the cuteness of something is directly proportional to how tiny it is. So, yes, Meng is bigger than I had imagined, but even so, I am not disappointed at all! I actually like this size much better than what I was imagining! Like I said, Meng measures in at about 7 inches tall and graduates from a 3.25 inch circumference around the tip of his nose to just under 7 inches circumference around the widest part of the body, near the tail. The actual tail of the dildo wraps around the body, forming a lip, which offers the toy some stability when standing, and also forms a base that is appropriate for anal play, should you chose to let your dragon play in that cave.
Meng wasn’t quite as streamline as I was hoping, at first glance, I thought it would be a very easy toy to insert from a “cold start.” But, even with lube, the arms added just enough girth that I had to warm up and stretch out before I could push it in further. There is also another swell around the lower belly portion of the toy, which also took some work to insert. Once the toy was in though, it provided a very satisfying, stretching and filling sensation. A feeling I really appreciate in a dildo, especially since my favorite mode of masturbation is the fill my vagina up with a toy then concentrate on my clit, rather than thrust a whole lot.
Once I was adequately warmed up to the toy, thrusting did become a little bit easier, although, the arms started to chafe a little bit. So, as with the Tantus’ Amsterdam, I needed to rotate this dildo a lot, to keep one spot from getting rubbed too raw
I asked for my Meng to be made in the firm firmness, which is awesome. I couldn’t imagine getting Meng in any other firmness, its just so perfect in firm. The textures and details are just so beautiful, I feel like going any softer would really lessen the impact those have. But, if firm is not your thing, Meng can be customized in either a medium or soft firmness.
Speaking of textures and details, the scales of this toy, while very intricately designed, were not prominent enough for me to feel each bump and groove. There was nothing overwhelming about the sensations it gave, the arms were the most noticeable texture difference to me. I found I liked to hold Meng with his backside up, so the horns and bumps down his back hit the edge of my clit as they went in, it was a delicious feeling that I enjoyed.

I did not get the cum tube this time, but Meng does have the option of having one. I really considered it, I truly wrestled with the idea of getting a cum tube, because I want to review a toy with one. But, I just kept imagining that Meng would look more like a dragon barfing into my vagina rather than cumming. The folks at Bad Dragon did weigh in on my cum tube dilemma and offered that if I put in clear lube it would look more like the dragon was spitting, rather than cumming. So, valid point there! Still, I ended up going sans cum tube. Next time though… next time I’m reviewing a toy with a cum tube! Scouts honor!
My favorite feature of Meng is the suction cup. The Bad Dragon suction cups are so awesome, they stick to most surfaces I’ve tried really well. I was able to ride Meng, even though I was really clumsy at it, the suction cup held it firmly in place, no slipping or popping loose. I love it. This option is always worth the extra money in my opinion.
Now, as you probably know, Bad Dragon offers some pretty cool color custimization options for their toys. And in my quest to be the worlds most difficult customer, I sent them a picture of a sparkly ombre nail polish and said “do this pweaaaaassssse” then batted my eyelashes at the computer screen. I was told they would try, but they were skeptical about being able to duplicate it. But, I think it turned out fantastic, I couldn’t imagine it turning out any better… unless of course there was more glitter. I’m pretty sure they must dread my color orders by this point… sorry guys! (Totally not sorry…)
