So, in case you are new to my blog, let me get you up to speed here: Not too long ago, I received a super awesome goody box full toys from the folks at Tantus. The Amsterdam Small was the first toy out of the box (check out the review if you missed it!). Also in the Tant-Tastic (tant-tastic… do you get it?! I’m freakin’ hilarious.) stash was the  Severin Small butt plug, the Nurse Connoisseur Harness and the beautiful pink beast of today’s review the Flurry O2!

Tantus Flurry O2 Silicone Dildo

The Flurry O2 is part of Tantus’ Dual Density line of toys. Dual Density toys are designed to feel more realistic, kind of like a real human penis, with material that has a soft, squishy, fleshy outside, and a harder more muscle like core. So, it has a fair amount of give to it when you squish it, but because of the harder core, its not a very bendy toy. I think it is a really great balance between between squish and firmness! I wish it had a suction cup (I wish everything had a suction cup), the firmness makes it feel like the perfect dildo for riding, but I was having some trouble getting it to stay put.

The texture of the toy is also nice, its satiny and soft, giving it a pretty luxurious quality. But I noticed I did need to use a lot of lube with Flurry, otherwise I ended up with some uncomfortable vagina drag (and maybe this is just a personal problem), so that is something to be aware of. Overall though I found the material very impressive. I carried my Flurry around for awhile, squishing it, putting it into my mouth, caressing it, and just being generally inappropriate with it long before I actually got around to masturbating with it. My fingers, they like it.

Flurry is a great non-representational option if you want something kind of like a penis, but that doesn’t actually look like a human penis (if your penis does look like this, please seek medical attention…). It comes in three vibrant, totally non-human colors: Twilight, Candy and Ice. I was sent a Flurry in candy color, which is comprised of a bright pink inner core (the firmer material) and a creamy sort of translucent squishy outer layer. So, you end up with a pretty neat two-toned effect along with your dual density. Suddenly all I can think about is Doublemint Gum… “double your pleasure, double your fun,”  a perfect slogan for the Flurry O2!

The Flurry measures in at seven inches of insertable length and a pretty average five inches circumference. Its a comfortable dildo, not too long for me, and still enough girth that I can actually tell that something is being inserted. I would say that its size makes the Flurry rather versatile. You can thrust with it, tickle your g-spot, its great for harness play, and its base makes it a perfect anal toy! Something for everyone!

Tantus Flurry O2 Head Detail

The head of the Flurry is made up of two pronounced ridges, the first ridge being the most pronounced and the second a little bit more subtle. I don’t know why, but the first thing I thought of when I saw this toy was the chin of a walrus. This is probably not the look they were going for, but I affectionately think of the Flurry as “the Walrus.” The Walrus… err, Flurry’s head seems pretty well designed for G-spot stimulation, but the shaft is straight, rather than the curved design you would typically find in a G-spot toy. This isn’t really a deal breaker for me, all it means is that my arm gets tired quickly, because I have to press harder and be a little bit more fiddly with my movements to really hit the spot. But, I can push through a little arm exhaustion in the name of a great orgasm! Hey… I’ve got to be building a little muscle doing this right? Next exercise craze, dildorobics?

So, bottom line, would I recommend this dildo? Yes! I think Flurry is a great dildo for anyone with an interest in it, its not too big, its not too girthy, it doesn’t have any weird textures that may be off putting to some people, its great for harness, anal, and vaginal… what isn’t to love about the Flurry? I think this dildo is especially great for those who are looking for the penis experience without something looking all weird and penisy… you get the idea, but you don’t feel like you are holding a dismembered dick in your hand.

Cost wise, Flurry is spendy, at $72.78 but not nearly as expensive as some of the other dildos I’ve reviewed. Honestly, the quality of this toy is so amazing, I’m actually kind of floored that it doesn’t cost much more than it does, so I think its a pretty great deal.
