My interest in the Nurse Connoisseur Harness comes from my overwhelming desire to put my imaginary dick in something. Having this harness I realized just how ridiculously large-sized my dildo collection is. I have a tough time finding a toy to fit through the hole. My Flurry O2 fit with a little gentle pushing, as did my Pleasure Works Maven and Rippler Mini. According to Tantus the leather harness ring is meant to fit 1.5 inch based toys. You are going to want a toy with a base large enough that it wont pull through the O ring, so I would suggest looking for a toy with about 2 inches or so. Adjusting the harness so that it’s snug against your body should also work to keep the dildo stable while wearing and thrusting. The permanent O ring setup on the Nurse Connoisseur Harness is probably going to work out for most peoples needs. I think you’ll only run into any real trouble if you are the kind of person who likes to use bigger dildos with larger bases, in which case, you are better off using a harness with an interchangeable O ring set up like the Black Widow Harness.
So I guess my advice before ordering is be sure to check your collection first. Double check your dildo sizes and decide if the permanent O ring or adjustable O ring harness is best for you. You could also order yourself a brand new pegging toy, I’ve heard that the Silk Medium fits perfectly in the Nurse Connoisseur Harness.
I was a little concerned that my longer toys was cause everything to droop and sag, but the harness seemed to hold it all up. No saggy dicks yet!
Once I found a toy in my own collection that fit I was ready to try this beauty on and share my erect penis with the world. The nice thing about this harness is that it will fit a fairly wide range of body sizes. According to Tantus the harness will fit 33-53 inch hips, of course, how well it fits will very person to person, depending on how high or low you like to wear it. I have wide, lady-like hips, which while making shopping for pants a pain in the butt, caused no problems with the fit of this harness. I was able to adjust it easily with the Velcro straps and find a fit that worked for me. The wide Velcro straps also make the harness hugely adjustable, making this a one size fits most sort of deal! The downside to the Velcro straps though, I can see the possibility of them wearing out with continued use.
The Velcro also makes it a really quick on and off harness. It really only takes seconds to put on, so you can go from foreplay to penetration without interrupting the sexy vibe you’ve got going by struggling with straps and buckles. So easy you can put it on in the dark with your eyes closed!
One thing I wasn’t real fond of while wearing this harness is the thong like wedgie it was giving me if I wore it without pants. It was really working itself up between my cheeks with every step I took. I am not a thong gal, so I have a heightened butt alarm anytime something slips unwelcome between my cheeks, this may not be an issue for you if you are an avid thong wearer, but it was a bit frustrating for me.
The leather harness is really well made. The stitching is tight and even, no loose threads or shoddy workmanship to be found. Its made from 100% soft and supple leather (vegans beware) but leather is a porous material, making this harness hard to sanitize. So, because of that, it is not the most ideal for sharing with others. To clean use a watered down solution of white vinegar or castile soap on a clean, lint-free cloth, then wipe dry.
At $99.99, I would say this is a pretty great harness for the price. Worth the purchase if you are looking for something highly adjustable and are otherwise unsure if harness play is right for you.
