Meo Cock Candy Oral Sex Gel – Sex Toy Review

MEO Cock Candy… it has candy in the name, I’m sold.

I’m a lackluster blow-job giver. Sure, I start out all enthusiastic with flawless moves and great tongue action, but as the minutes wear on, my jaw gets tired, my attention wanes, I start thinking about all the laundry I need to do, and what I’m going to cook for dinner as soon as this blow-job is over… Sure, I’ve tried to “spice it up” to keep things interesting, I’ve tried various oral sex gels before, but I’ve just never been a big fan of them. Usually they taste like a concoction of synthetic yuck, a mouth full of chemicals. So, when MEO sent me their five flavor variety of Cock Candy I was intrigued, but I figured it would end up on my hate list, along with every other oral gel I’ve tried.

Buuuuut…

I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Not, shout-it -from-the-mountain-tops surprised, but mildly impressed with a round of polite golf clapping surprised. Cock Candy ain’t bad folks. Something I can see myself using on occasion.

Cock Candy is a water-based ‘lubricant’ with a gel-like consistency. I use the word lubricant lightly, because I really wouldn’t use it in the same way one would traditionally use lubes. It is very quick to dry out, it would take a lot of Cock Candy to keep penetrative sex going and it becomes sticky (not like I stuck my hand in honey sticky, but once your saliva has come in contact with it, its tacky). I’ve also read a few reviews warning women away from using Cock Candy on or around their vulva’s because it will cause a yeast infection. This stems from the misconception that glycerin is a sugar and that it will feed the yeast microorganisms that live in the vagina. But, good news, glycerin is not a sugar. While it does has a sweet taste, it is actually classified a simple alcohol compound. Yest cannot feed on water-based sexual lubricants! However, glycerin can be drying, hence why I don’t think this makes a great lube for penetration or hand jobs. However, if you are prone to yeast infections or UTIs, you may wish to avoid its use just to be safe.

Also, being water-based is awesome for other reasons! Water-based makes Cock Candy totally latex-friendly, so you can still use a condom during a blow-job but mask that condomy rubber taste with a delightfully fruity smorgasbord! Also, it’s water-soluble making it a breeze to wash off when you are finished. I love anything with a quick clean-up, I’m so lazy.

Using Cock Candy is easy! All you need to do is flip open the cap (which is really snuggly attached, you don’t have to worry much about any leakage) and squeeze out a small dime sized amount. I made the mistake of squeezing out WAY to much with my first test of Cock Candy, a little really goes a long way with this stuff. I was gagging with how sweet it was, you really don’t need much to achieve maximum flavor power! And the flavor lingers for quite awhile, even after I was sure I had licked it all clean from stunt-cocks penis, I could still taste it for quite awhile after. The gel itself is thick, and what I would call maybe a mid-viscosity, not really runny, but it does spread around the skin quite smoothly. Depending on how liberal you are with the oral gels, I think you can probably get 8 to 15 blow jobs per bottle (this is only a guesstimate, don’t hold me to it!).

Cock Candy comes in five flavors, pina colada, strawberry, strawberry-kiwi, vanilla, and cherry and each flavor has its own unique color. Each flavor is available for purchase individually, or as a variety pack containing all five gel flavors. Each flavor comes in a easy-to-squeeze 30ml tube. They are about the size of a larger chap-stick tube or glue-stick, making it really easy to carry them around for spontaneous blow jobs or discreet storage.

Flavor-wise, the cherry tasted almost medicinal for me, reminded me too much of cough syrup, or my mom used to add liquid medication to cherry Coke to make it go down easier… thats what this flavor reminds me of. It was my least favorite of the bunch. Smelled nice though!

The strawberry was deliciously artificial tasting, it really reminded me of the strawberry flavored HubbaBubba gum I chewed all through elementary school. Pretty much the flavor I would expect from anything artificially strawberry flavored.

With the vanilla I liked the way it smelled but hated the way it tastes. It is overpoweringly vanilla… if vanilla is your thing, you may be into this… not me. I’ve never been a vanilla gal, so I’m not surprised I disliked this. It didn’t taste bad, it just tastes so… vanilla.

The strawberry kiwi was delicious! By far my most favorite of the bunch! It has that same fake strawberry taste that the straight up strawberry had, but with a kind of sweetly sour, kiwi undertone. Its a weird flavor, hard to place, kind of reminds me of the flavor of gummy candies. I love it! If you are only going to try one flavor, make it this one!

And finally, the pina colada, it does taste like you would expect pina colada to taste. It smells like coconut, yum!  This one is where I really noticed that tang you get from saccharin sweetener (like the after taste of a diet soda), but its not bad if you don’t go overboard when applying it. The flavor of Pina Colada has kind of been ruined for me as a flavor for me by Orthodontists. Whenever they would take impressions of my teeth, they always used a horrible Pina Colada flavor… so using this flavor gave me dentist flash backs! AHH!

All in all, the flavors are good. None of them are bad, I think it just comes down to personal taste. Now, a flavor I would REALLY like to see is candy cane! I love peppermint, I’d give a stellar blow job if I felt like I was sucking on a peppermint candy cane.

All of the Cock Candy flavors are made from similar ingredients: Glycerine, Aqua, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Propylene Glycol, Panthenol, Sodium Saccharin, Citric Acid and Aroma (Flavour).

So, do I recommend MEO Cock Candy? It tastes like candy, heck yeah I’m going to recommend it (only as an oral gel, not as a traditional lubricant)! However, if you don’t have a sweet tooth, you probably will not enjoy these flavors. They all taste like very sweet, kind of fake flavored, candies. But, if sweet is your thing, you’ll be in heaven! Perfect for those of use who need that little extra motivation in the blow job department. The flavors are fun, they all smell great, they don’t leave your mouth taste like you’ve been licking cleaning supplies, the gel is quick to clean up and the tubes easy to store. This is a fun product, worth a try!

You can purchase MEO Cock Candy directly from MEO.de for 6,90€ (about $7) for the individual 30ml tubes or 27,60€ (about $30) for the five pack. MEO ships internationally and very discreetly!
