Do you hear the choirs of angels and see the heavenly light from above? No? Well, either I’m crazy or this toy is amazing! (Pssst, the correct answer is this toy is amazing…)
Satisfyer, the new frontier. These are the voyages of the Satisfyer Pro 2, it’s continuing mission to explore new bodies, to seek out new orgasms and satisfaction… To boldly go where no sex toy has gone before!

Do you get it? Star Trek the Next Generation? Next Generation? Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation? Shut up, I’m frickin’ hilarious. That was pure gold and you know it. In my review of the Satisfyer Pro 2 I mentioned that the toy looked like a medical device Bone’s would have used on the starship Enterprise… this is a running joke and it is amazing. I WILL NEVER STOP WITH THE STAR TREK REFERENCES!
In the past couple of years I have become a big fan of these suction based toys, I’ll admit I had a spot of trouble adjusting to the Womanizer W200 but once I figured out how to actually use the toy, hot damn… I was sucked in (get it? SUCKED in). By the time the Satisfyer Pro Penguin arrived on my doorstep, I had become a pro at sucking orgasms out of my clit left and right. Every time a new Womanizer or Satisfyer shows up I’m always skeptical that I will have anything new to say about the product… and yet… somehow… these toys end up feeling more amazing, more powerful than the last. That is how I am currently feeling about the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation… like honestly, I didn’t think there could be that much difference between it and its predecessor… but there is… there really is… I’m having a hard time putting my finger on exactly whats so much more amazing about it, but let’s see if I can break it down here and figure it out!
So the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is an updated version of the Satisfyer Pro 2 (which is probably pretty obvious). This toy looks pretty much identical to its earlier model, the style of the body hasn’t changed, the size of the toy hasn’t changed, even the odd metallic copper-ish color hasn’t really changed much (I swear the Next Generation looks a hair of a shade darker)… with a single glance, it is hard to tell the two toys apart.
The differences may be minute but they are there. For example, the button set up has been altered slightly (and for the better) with the Next Generation. Previously the Satisfyer Pro 2 had only a single button to click through the intensities, meaning if you clicked off a setting you were enjoying, you would have to cycle through all of the toy’s settings to arrive back where you started. I found this particularly annoying, because oftentimes I find myself wanting to flip back and forth between two or three different settings, which becomes a chore if I have to cycle through half a dozen others to enjoy those few. Thankfully the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation has done away with that inconvenience and now features a large button that has both a (+) to cycle up and a (-) to cycle down, hooray! This new button feature replaces the LED light that was part of the Satisfyer Pro 2, which I honestly don’t miss. An indicator light is nice… but… useful buttons are better. Both Next Generation still features a separate power button, click to power the toy up (this will activate the lowest massage setting) then press and hold to turn it off again (pretty standard stuff). The power button of the Next Generation also acts as an indicator light, lighting up when the toy is on and blinking red while charging (when the light stays solid, it is finished charging), so… there really is no reason at all to miss that separate indicator light.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation features 11 intensity speeds in total, same as the previous model, however these new 11 somehow feel more powerful to me. Since I can’t confirm if this is true mechanically speaking, it is possible it is just all in my head, because I want it to be true. Hey, if my toy feels stronger purely because of a placebo effect… I’ll take it! What is true, however, is that the engines of the toy have been updated, making the Next Generation a much quieter experience than its predecessor (and maybe making it stronger? Maybe?). When I use the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation I find myself hovering in the middle intensities, this is a toy where the top settings are too much for even me (Me! The power queen!) and I find myself very thankful for the ability to back down with the click of a button, because sometimes I think I want to push it up to a higher level and suddenly everything becomes so overwhelming and sensitive that I need to back off immediately (imagine if I having to cycle through MORE intense modes just to reach a more comfortable intensity).
The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation still works the same as it’s previous (and all other) models. The idea is to put the opening of the toy against the clit, creating a vacuum seal around it and allowing the toy to gently (or not so gently if you are a high setting sort of person) suck the clitoris (without anything ever actually touching the clit). I’ve heard many people liken it to oral sex, I’m not sure I completely agree with that assessment… the Satisfyer feels like its got so much more going on than oral sex… I guess I could see it being like the part of oral sex where your partner focuses only on sucking the clit… but even then, there is something so much different about the way the Satisfyer does it. Along with the sucking sensation, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation also has a rumbly component to it that is almost vibrator like… but also not at all like a vibrator. It is really hard to put in to words.
The orgasms I get from the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation are (don’t worry, I’m not going to say satisfying) INTENSE. Whoa boy, I will be laying there, enjoying myself when out of nowhere HELLO I’M AN ORGASM, I’VE COME RIGHT NOW! Like, there is almost no build up… when I use a vibrator (like my beloved Doxy Wand) I can feel an orgasm coming on, it starts as kind of a dull tingle in my toes and fingers and it kind of draws inwards, building up until finally BOOM orgasm. But it is not like that at all with the Satisfyers. It’s just HERE HAVE AN ORGASM, WOULD YOU LIKE ANOTHER? HERE YOU GO! Over and over again… and because nothing is actually touching my clit, I can continue to hold the toy there without feeling oversensitive and needing some time to compose myself before going again… I can just enjoy orgasm after orgasm after orgasm. It’s nuts and I love it.
Other particulars about the the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation are that it is waterproof. I have not tried it in the shower yet, but it is on my sex toy bucket list and I am looking forward to it. It is also rechargeable via the included magnetic charging cable. Just plug the USB end into your computer or wall adaptor and off you go! The silicone head of the toy can be removed for easy cleaning, but unlike the Womanizer it does not come with extra heads, so keep track of the one you’ve got! Also, because the head of this toy is made from silicone, if you choose to use lube while playing with it opt for something that does not contain silicone.
If you are looking to buy a Satisfyer but haven’t decided on which model, I’m going to go ahead and recommend you nab the Pro 2 Next Generation. The ability to navigate easily through the settings with the addition of that plus and minus button along makes this a better purchase than some of the older Satisfyer models. Also, as I mentioned, this toy does appear to be much quieter than other Satisfyer models I own, which is great if discretion is your goal. You may be thinking because it is a “Next Generation” model, a new model, it must cost an arm and a leg… it doesn’t! Satisfyer has stuck to a very reasonable pricing scheme with all of their Satisfyer toys, including the Next Generation! I’ve been seeing the average price of the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation sitting at about $69, which is only $10 more than the average price of the previous model (and in some places I’ve seen the two toys priced the same), it is definitely worth those extra few dollars!
