I like butt stuff. Do you like butt stuff? Do we all like butt stuff? I sure hope so. If not, well… then this review might not be for you, because today I am reviewing a butt plug, which I have lovingly taken up the butt all in the name of science (and a good time).
In their infinite anal wisdom Peepshow Toys offered to send me the B Vibe Snug Plug and of course I agreed. I love B Vibe, I love butt plugs, what else did I need to know about it? I have become pretty fond of B Vibe, they have some very interesting products, including the Rimming Butt Plug and the Triplet (which is a review that is coming up later) so when I read about the concept of the Snug Plug I was pretty excited. The Snug Plug is a weight plug which according to B Vibe themselves “provides a sensual feeling of fullness.” I was curious how a silicone plug with weights in it would differ from something like the Njoy Pure Plugs that are just naturally weighted because of being made from stainless steel. So… I picked out the Snug Plug 2 and weight impatiently for the package to arrive.
Speaking of packaging, let me go off on a quick tangent here… so, the place I live now shares a driveway with a cabin that is only occupied seasonally and pretty much only on weekends… they don’t have a mail box or receive any mail there. Since living here I’ve noticed that there has been an uptick in the number of times a package says its been delivered but I couldn’t find it. This happened to me with my package from Peepshow and it finally dawned on me “oh my god, are my neighbors getting my sex toy packages?” INITIATE PANIC MODE. So I half snuck half ran across their yard to their front door and I did find a very wet, very soggy, lump of cardboard that looks like it had been sitting outside for the better part of a week. WHEW! I got it home and crossed my fingers that the toys inside were safe, and sure enough, Peepshow Toys does a marvelous job of packing items and the toys were dry and safe! HOORAY! BUT, this only explains on of several missing packages… so… are my other boxes trapped inside the cabin? Have they opened my packages? Are they using my sex toys?! You would think they would realize they are in fact NOT Kitten Boheme and would maybe think to bring the box over here?
Anyway, my mail drama aside, the B Vibe Snug Plug is an interesting little butt plug. The top of the plug rounded and somewhat tapered while the main body of the plug is kind of torpedo shaped, not nearly as bulbous as what I think of as a more traditional butt plug shape. The neck of the Snug Plug is incredibly narrow (only about 0.4 inches in diameter) and really is just flexible stem of silicone. The silicone is seamless and very smooth… it’s smooth, like butter. Because of the weights inside there is not give to the toy when I squeeze it, so even though the stem is super flexible and floppy, the main body of the toy is quite firm.
In my hands the B Vibe Snug Plug reminded me a lot of Kegel balls. It has the same sort of weighted, rattling feeling that my Lelo Luna Noir Beads have. Which, I won’t lie, made me kind of excited… I couldn’t wait to feel that rattling happening in my butt!
Inserting the Snug Plug was like pushing a stick of butter through a hula-hoop on fire… okay, I’m not sure that actually makes sense (and whats with my butter obsession today?), but what I mean to say is that it went in suuuuuuper easy. I lubed the plug up with a sample packet of Jo Agape that Peepshow had sent along with an earlier package and gently pushed it against my butt hole. It slurped right in, no complaints. If you have read my previous butt stuff reviews, you know I have a problem with being impatient (lazy?) and I hate warming up for anal, I want just want to get right to it! Which means I really love a plug that doesn’t fight with me when being inserted, so as far as ease of insertion goes, the B Vibe Snug Plug gets high marks.
Once inside, the Snug Plug kind of feels like it was custom fitted to my butt, I’m pretty sure I felt what Cinderella must have felt as her foot slid into that perfectly made glass slipper. Angels sang and I was bathed in a gold light from heaven. I had found butt plug nirvana. The B Vibe has what they call a precision design, which I think is fancy speak for “this plug fits so well you almost forget it’s there.” The incredibly close, narrow fit of the plug really made it feel like it was part of my body, had it not been for the weights, I may have forgotten it was there before too long. Even the base of this toy is comfortable. Nothing about that slim t-bar was intrusive, it sat comfortably between my cheeks, it didn’t rub or chafe and I could sit down (for long periods of time even) without any discomfort at all. Truly a well designed plug that would be fantastically comfortable for anyone who enjoys wearing an anal plug for an extended period of time.
But I know what you are really here for is to know how those weights worked. Okay, so I had it in my head that adding weights to a butt plug would somehow be the most magical experience I’ve ever had in my butt, I thought the sensation would be mind blowing. It wasn’t… I was kind of let down, because I had built up all kinds of wild notions in my head. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, the weights added a much more understated layer of stimulation than what I was expecting. I could definitely feel pressure, but it wasn’t that unfortunate “I have to poop” kind of pressure, it was far more interesting and pleasurable than that, yet… hard to describe. While it wasn’t as pronounced as I was imagining, I could occasionally feel the plug shift or bounce just a bit, it was enough to get my attention and cause me to notice the plug in my butt all over again. It kind of had that sliding feeling I get when having anal sex (either with a dildo or penis) and I liked it and I would find myself wanting more of that movement and suddenly I would find myself jumping up and down like an idiot trying to replicate whatever just happened in my butt. If you are using the Snug Plug for extended wear, those subtle weights won’t let you forget its there. I was kind of hoping for a weightier feeling, something more similar to the Njoy 2.0, something I could really feel pressing down while inside me, I didn’t get that with the Snug Plug, but maybe its due to the size I asked for.
I don’t normally like enormous butt plugs, so I think I erred on the side of caution when picking my Snug Plug, I feel like I could have comfortably gone bigger and enjoyed this butt plug even more. Even though it is the second largest side, the Snug Plug 2 is on the smaller side and probably something anal noobs or those who don’t like the average or larger sized plugs will enjoy. My Snug Plug 2 has about 4.3 inches of insertable length and is something like 1.2 inches in diameter and weighs 114 grams. The other plugs range from 55 grams for the smallest to 180 and 256 grams for the larger two plugs.
I honestly really enjoyed the B Vibe Snug Plug 2, even though I think I could have happily accommodated a larger size, I still really enjoyed what I got. Hands down one of the most comfortable butt plugs to ever grace my inner booty sanctum. I have no doubt this Snug Plug is going to see lots of use in the future… it may have even stolen the crown from Tantus Ryder, declaring itself the new king of my butthole.
When you get your Snug Plug be sure to open the package all the way, lift the plastic insert out because under that you will find a user guide, a handy little guide to anal play, and a nifty storage bag to keep you Snug Plug safe and sound while traveling or storing it! I mention this only because I nearly missed it, I’ve used the Snug Plug a handful of times already and it wasn’t until writing this review that I noticed that there was something more in the box! It’s like Christmas come early, hooooray for strorage bags!
So, do I recommend the B Vibe Snug Plug 2? I think the answer should be pretty obvious at this point… yes I do! I recommend either the Snug Plug 2 or one of its siblings… depending on what you are looking for size-wise. If you are looking for a comfortable plug for long term wear, this is it, you have found the plug of your dreams (I hope). I would even recommend this plug to someone who is new to anal play, just because it is such a comfortable experience, the torpedo shaped body is easy to insert and really feels swell one inside. B Vibe, you did a great job with this one!
